HANOVER, Va. (AP) — Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley’s campaign has “severed all ties” with the head of his Virginia campaign, after the volunteer’s arrest on felony child pornography charges.

Michael C. Teegarden, 51, was being held without bail on charges related to the online trading of child pornography. The Richmond Times-Dispatch first reported his arrest Thursday.

An O’Malley spokeswoman said the campaign was “horrified by these allegations.”

The Times-Dispatch reported that Teegarden was an executive at a wealth management company in the Richmond area.
