Rebecca Garang: under Attack
Southern Sudanese women speaks
It is ironic that when leader need the citizens to support their mission, they claim to be protective of the people when a goal is reached. But after achieving the goals, they forget even to address the problems the people face. To this example falls Mrs. Rebecca Garang. She could even not speak for the rights of the women in her home town. Meanwhile when situations were still on gambling, she claims to be standing for the educations and the well being of the women in southern Sudan. But now when the situation is the right time to take responsibility and speak up for the people she gave the promises, she turns away from the pain they suffer. May be we all wander if she needs to experience a Gang rape to be able to reflect how painful the women who are subjected into sexual rape feel?
Playing politics has become one of the first professions even a new born in south Sudan thinks of. But if politics/policies are not measurable but opportunistic, the hierarchy will be an inheritable. I.e. it ends with the end of the regime.
